Seriously...has it really been this long?!

OMG it has been since Never-uary that I have been able to blog! I always come up with all of these great ideas, but I never have the time to update my little blog. Please forgive me blog-world :(

So many things are new, it is the beginning of Spring, despite the snow flurries we got earlier today, and I got a promotion at work!!! Life is good and God is even better! Truly blessed I am!

Merry Almost Christmas!

I started out upset, but now im inspired!

So I came into work today and while checking my email, I realized I had got an email from Essence.com talking about the debate over Barack Obama's citizenship and how his citizenship was becoming an issue. Are you serious America? A month before the inauguration? And guess who it is being headed up by? Alan Keyes, a disgruntled African American that ran an unsuccessful campaign for presidency as a republican a few years ago. How sad. You would think that in 2008, with an African- American president on the road to inauguration, we would be further ahead and not trying to CONTINUE to pull each other down, like crabs in a bucket. It really upset me reading the interview Essence had with Alan Keyes.What a bitter hateful person.But then I saw another link and it had letters from little boys to Obama, and it really made me smile. Even the children realize how important this is.

Hello!!!

Whew! What a week I had! Im going to try and update this thing more than once weekly, but this past week was crazy, to say the least, but very blessed must I say! And a bit of it stemmed from something He-who-must-not-be-namesd a.k.a. the ex-fiance who cheated on me did suprisingly. I was sitting around mulling over the flat screen I felt I needed and throwing myself a pity party cause I really can't afford it when my lightbulb went off! What better way to get rid of the stuff my ex gave me AND get what I wanted? THE PAWN SHOP! So one google search and two pawn shops later, I was $250 richer!! Thanks for dumbass for the new TV! I actually went the more "reasonable" route and bought a Sharp 36' flat screen tube tv for $75 bucks on my favorite Craigslist! And im getting a new digital camera tomarrow!

Sidebar- so I really havent met anyone of real importance since I moved here on September 11th (what timing huh) and I went on the strangest date with an old friend this weekend. The food was AWESOME as was the server (thanks Gaslight in Hoboken)but that was pretty much it. Can 27 year old men really have like E.D.? He really couldnt get it to work. Slightly amusing (if it wouldnt have happened to me) but overall depressing.

So anyways, back to the title of my blog. So I guess FAO Shwartz in the city (NY of course) makes customized MUPPETS!!!!!!! I have always loved my muppets and since I discovered there is a Jim Henson museum in a small town in Mississpi by grandma (I think its Indianola) I have re-kindled my love for them. I truly miss the days of muppet babies and eurekas castle (anyone?...)ah, the good old days.

Well guess I should get some rest for work, ttyl!

Ooh My First Blog! Keavney, what have you started?

Hello Everyone,

Yay this is my first blog! I love reading them so I figured I should start one of my own! This should be quite interesting as I have some pretty funny things happen to me and my two homosexi-cats only make it better! Let me explain I have two cats Bruce Leroy and Jean Claws Van Damm and they are both gay. Like Will and Grace gay. Seriously. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I was apart of a Gay/Straight alliance in school so Im totally supportive. Then there is my job that keeps me pretty entertained and life in general. Having that said, I thought I should add a LOLCAT of Jean Claws....did I mention he has two thumbs? Cuteness with his hamburger helper glove hands. Close up pics to come...
